Took a trip up to Log Road MX to see some Vintage racing and catch up with PBP rider Stan Stables.  Due to the Regional at Crossroads I wasn't able to attend the AHRMA National at Lincoln Trail this year.  Hopefully the schedule will work out next year. MAORA Fall Classic 2009 wasn't quite the mud fest I was expecting with all the rain last week. Track was a bit rough on Saturday for the short course, but it kept things exciting. PBP traveled to Trojan Raceway this past weekend for Round 2 of the Indiana State Race Series. What a great track and facilities! Check out spectator hill; bleacher seating and lots of room for lawn chairs. You can view pretty much the entire track from there.Trojan is a great mix of sand/soil that allows for excellent ruts and breaking bumps. But not too tough for the beginning racers.

Dreaded Monday. Actually this one isn't too bad since I had the weekend off. Normally I'm exhausted and sorting pictures about now. Instead I am working on new stuff this week. that's what I call a great weekend. Lincoln Trail is still the best place to be for AHRMA Vintage racing. Some things never change. Although I don't recall seeing Lincoln around, I did catch Jean Ramsey back in the tractor. Saturday was Post Vintage on the modern track with a few changes. It's been awhile since I got to shoot the Indiana Vintage Off-Road Enthusiasts. I've missed you guys! Numbers are down, but excitement is still high with these fellas. They've switched up a little and mixing in some GP's with the motocross. CRMX was in top form this weekend. Nadine, Ray, and the crew laid the groundwork perfectly for an excellent track and pit. Mini Olympics Final Standings:Chase Sexton took double 1st! Both SX and MX in the 51 7-8 Stock class. SX: 65 7-9 Mod: 14th, 65 7-9 Stock: 12th. MX: 65 7-9 Stock: 29th, and 65 7-9 Mod: 24th. Quad harescramble racer Brent Foltz was killed in an auto accident Tuesday. Out of respect for Brent the Lincoln Trail team quad harescramble has been rescheduled for Sunday, Nov. 9th. With CRMX having to reschedule their Appreciation Weekend I headed over to check out Archview MX. What an awesome track. Lots of spectator seating with a good view of the track.
