Backwoods had to cancel today. Bummer. Thought about heading to Du Quoin, but stayed home to work on the website and catch up on things instead. Sounds like the track is in great shape this weekend for the qualifier. I hope all our riders have done well. Poor folks down at Lake Whitney have had a terrible time with the rain. Love a good muddy race, but sometimes it's just too much.
Thanks to everyone who has called, emailed, or gone to the statehouse regarding Illinois House Bill 3914. It's not over yet. The bill was sent back to the rules committee. I can't believe some of the legislation that is trying to get passed lately. Do they want us to wrap our kids in bubble wrap until they're grown? We'd probably get arrested for child abuse then. No decent, caring parent would put their child on a dirt bike or atv without proper safety gear, training and supervision in the first place. I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but needed to vent a little. I did email Illinois state reps., but being an Indiana resident I'm not sure how much it helped.
The updated website is finally finished. I'll be doing a little more work on it as time allows. It was well overdue for a face lift considering some pictures were from 2003!

2009 Season
The start of our 2009 season is fast approaching. There have been a few changes on the website with more to come. The new viewing/shopping cart is up and running. If anyone has problems or concerns please let us know. We have made changes in web hosting that have greatly increased the speed of the web site. Many thanks to Saratoga Hosting for all their hard work. You will see a few pricing changes, but overall close to the same as last year.
Our schedule has been updated with 2 IVORME races. Normally these are MX, but IVORME has decided to go GP this year. Vintage bikes are always a treat to shoot.
Can't wait to get back on the track again. Indy SX gave me the itch real bad. Seriously need a premix fix and soon. Get those bikes ready and we'll see you at Backwoods on March 15th.

20 days until my first race of 2009
Counting down the days till my first race of the year. I'll be at Backwoods MX for my season opener this year. Scott and Kara have a very nice track with lots of talented local riders.
My schedule is almost complete and available on the website. The new shopping cart should be up and running by next week. Then it will be on to other updates on the website.
Think Spring everyone!

Off season is busy too
I hope that all of you are busy preparing for the new season. I sure am. The schedule is slowing coming together. Still waiting to hear from a couple tracks on dates, but should have it posted soon. The website will be undergoing a few changes. Biggest change will be a new shopping cart. I know; you just got used to the old one and now I'm going to change it! I had planned to redo the entire website, but it doesn't look like I will have the time to complete it before the season starts.
New poster designs are always in the works. I play with lots of them before I settle on something. Magnets will be back on the product list. Luckily found a terrific supplier for those. We'll have 3x4, 4x6, 4x6.5 calander, and 3" round. 8x10 calander prints will be added also (see below).

Stay warm and safe. Keep up the workouts and we'll see you come spring.
