Is it spring yet?

We're all stuck inside with either ice or snow; dreaming of 70 degrees, fresh dirt, and the smell of race gas.  Ah, hurry up spring!

PBP has been busy this winter working on new products and posters for the 2011 season.  Our 12 month calendars are available now.  By the way, we can start your calendar with any month you choose.  Might be a bit odd, but it works!  License plates, coffee mugs, travel mugs, and can koozies are ready to order too.  Laptop covers and sticker sheets coming soon.

What's new elsewhere:

We hear that Lincoln Trail will be giving night races a try this season.  I'll do my best to get as many pictures as I can before it gets too dark.  Normally I can get in all the first moto if things keep moving pretty well.  LTM also scored a Loretta Lynn Area Qualifier!  See you there April 2-3.

Sad, but true, Sweet 16 MX is no more.  Baer Field has decided to level the MX track and change to kart racing.  Tough break for many who practiced there on Wednesdays during the sesaon.

MXPTV will be giving some awesome exposure to area riders via the "Mid-West Tour".  Ben Lynn has several riders featured in promo commercials now running on the MotoExposure web site.

June will once again have me in complete awe of some of the finest bikes to hit the track.  AHRMA Vintage/Post Vintage MX!  If you haven't had the chance to see a vintage race then mark you calendar for June 25-26th at Lincoln Trail MX.  Bultaco, Penton, Hodaka, Triumph, Montesa and Maico to name a few.  Of course some Suzuki, Honda, and Kawi in there also.  Just remember to bring along the ear plugs;)

Dang, it's still snowing and blowing.  Click your heals together 3 times and say, "There's no place like the track......there's no place like the track......there's no place like the track......"  Shoot!  Where's that Good Witch when ya need her?  Oh yea, she's burried in a snow drift in Kansas.

.........see you in abut 6 weeks!

Actually LTM has consistently had one night race a season. It's a shame they didn't have lights. People have used flash lights duct taped to their front fenders.
